The Naydenov Booster Club (NBC) is a non-profit organization which helps athletes of Naydenov Gymnastics to pursue their dreams of becoming elite gymnasts. NBC provides monetary and administrative support for our gymnasts participating in local, state, regional, national, and international competitions.
The Booster Club coordinates the participation and funding for competitive gymnastics. It performs various functions relating to these events, such as registering gymnasts with the USAG, selecting uniforms, entering teams and gymnasts in competitions, and much more. It is also responsible for the budgeting and accounting of competition costs, and in funding competitions through organized fundraisers.
The founder of Naydenov Gymnastics is Jordan Naydenov. Jordan was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Jordan competed in gymnastics nationally in Bulgaria before coming to the United States in 1982 to work with Ringling Brothers as a circus gymnast. He designed and built the Naydenov Gymnastics Fun Center so that children of all ages can enjoy the sport of gymnastics. Gymnastics is an individual sport within a group setting, and it can build self-esteem/confidence, coordination, flexibility, discipline, strength, determination, sportsmanship skills, and goal setting. Most of all, gymnastics is fun!
Currently, Naydenov Gymnastics is owned and managed by Kevin and Ivanka Jenkins. Kevin started as a Gymnastics/Sports Camp Director for the Eugene Family YMCA in 1988. Since 1992, Kevin has been coaching gymnastics and/or managing gymnastics schools in California, Maine, North Dakota, Texas, and Washington. Ivanka Jenkins, Kevin’s wife, has been assisting with preschool classes and play care. Today, Naydenov Gymnastics Center offers training for competitive gymnastics, recreational gymnastics, dance, martial arts, cheer, and parkour.
